12 tips for proper winter skin care


Winter is the most stressful season for the gentleskin of the face, and also for the skin of the hands. In the street, open areas of our body suffer from the influence of an aggressive environment: wind, cold, snow, while in the room they are dehydrated by working heaters.






A combination of these factors makes the skin dry,dull and rough. How to help her survive this period? Today we share with you a dozen little tricks recommended by dermatologists to make your skin soft, smooth and attractive throughout the winter.


1. Say no to the bubbles. Foaming soap leaves a pleasant feelingtenderness in the process of washing, but in fact it deprives the skin of the protective fat layer. In winter, use a more gentle cream soap without perfume, with a content of at least 1% sodium lauryl sulfate.


2. Do a mild peeling. Use two to three times a week for washingface 5% salicylic acid solution or 10% glycolic acid. If you have sensitive facial skin, make the solution half-concentrated, diluting it with water.


3. Soothe the scalp. Get rid of dryness and irritation of the scalp,using moisturizing shampoo and conditioner with five or less ingredients in the composition. The smaller the number of ingredients will enter into the shampoo - the less chance there will be of irritation. If you have a dandruff problem, use a shampoo containing zinc pyrithione or selenium sulphide.


4. Take a shower with a strong head of water. Use a moisturizing shower gel and loofah loofah. Water should not be hot, but warm. After showering, wipe with a towel, leaving the skin slightly damp, and immediately apply lotion on it.


5. Choose a quality moisturizer for the face. It is desirable that the composition of the drug included hyaluronic acid and ceramides. Both ingredients promote good hydration.


6. Adapt your skin care regime to winter conditions. Begin the care of the serum for a person penetrating deeper than a normal moisturizer. Finish with lotion or cream to fight against dry skin.
