Velvet hands are the result of care and attention;grease your hands with cream daily. Of course, a homemade cream made independently is more effective than any other, and its creation will bring you a special, creative joy. Becoming a home cosmetic specialist is not difficult. Here is the recipe for a moisturizing hand cream with calendula.

Hand Cream: Home Prescription

Each cream has three stages-phases, includinga variety of ingredients, combined on the basis of interaction with each other - water, oil and thickening, which includes some of the emulsifiers that allow the cream to thicken. For this cream, it is best to use marigold infusion on soybean oil. The petals of these flowers have protective properties and help heal small cuts and minor skin infections. And, consequently, it is a very suitable main ingredient for hand cream. In the recipe, the ingredients are divided into phases.

Water:

  • Rose water - 45 ml.

Oily:

  • Cocoa butter - 8 g.

  • Infusion of calendula leaves in oil - 30 ml.

Thicken:

  • The granules of soy lecithin are 2 g or

  • Liquid lecithin - 2 ml.

  • Beeswax - 5 g.

In addition, take an accurate scale, blender, utensilsand containers with sealed lids; You will also need an oven to heat some of the mixes. Pay attention to the last phase - OR pellets, OR liquid lecithin.

Step-by-step recipe for hand cream:

1. Make sure that all utensils, all tools and containers, in other words, everything that will contact the cream and its components, is sterile. Use for this purpose boiling (not less than 15 minutes) or treatment with alcohol, carefully dry everything before mixing. It is not superfluous to wear thin latex gloves. Cooked in an unleached or unsterilized crockery cream is not very useful and incredibly quickly deteriorates - it will initially contain bacteria.

2. Dissolve the lecithin granules in rose water (this will take about an hour) and mix the mixture. Liquid lecithin, if you use it, just pour it into the pink water.

3. Melt the beeswax in a water bath and mix it with cocoa butter and marigold oil. The temperature of the mixture should not exceed 65 degrees Celsius. Overheating of the whole mass is fraught with the fact that the cream will turn granular - the wax is rolled into small balls, and all have to be remade.

4. Preheat up to 70 degrees Celsius water mixture.

5. Drain them and mix with a blender. Immerse the blender in a mixture of oils and, turning it on, carefully top up the water part. The total temperature should be about 50-60 degrees. Mix until you get a creamy consistency.

6. Remember - at the moment of mixing the water part can float upward, and not mix with oil. Put the bowl in cool water and continue to stir.

7. After the cream is ready, add, if you will, preservative and aromatic oil (all this is not necessary), and stir again.

8. Put the cream in containers.

Do not forget: Natural cream without preservatives stored fromtwo weeks to a month, depends on the quality of the products in it. The preservative will prolong his life for a couple of weeks. Rose water, a water base, is itself antibacterial, but with poorly treated dishes, the cream will disappear at the end of the first week.
