Peeling at home
Fashionable in our time the word "peeling" came from English "to peel", which means"Exfoliate", "peel off". Peeling is the procedure for removing the upper keratinized layer of the epidermis (skin). Peeling can be vacuum, chemical, mechanical, laser. At home, mechanical peeling is the most popular.

When mechanical peeling Horny skin particles are removed due toEffects of small grinding particles contained in a special cosmetic means for peeling - scrub. Scrubs are made on the basis of active cleaning components and various grinding particles, such as sea salt, shredded shells of nuts, egg shells. There are scrubs for the face and for the body. These scrubs, in general, are similar to each other, the only difference is that in facial scrubs the grinding particles are smaller.

How does peeling work? The principle of action of peeling, includingmechanical, very simple. Due to the effect of exfoliation, the dead cells are removed from the skin surface and the younger and more fresh skin beneath them becomes visible. The peeling procedure stimulates the accelerated production of new skin cells, and, therefore, the skin looks younger.

Use scrubs should be not more than once or twice a week. If you cleanse your skin this way more often, then it can lose its natural protection and, instead of being useful, peeling will only do harm. However, very "hardened" skin on the knees, elbows, soles of the feet can be cleaned more often.

When choosing a product for peeling, it is necessarytake into account your age and skin type. For young skin, the use of abrasives is not necessary, but mature skin can not be dispensed with. For dry skin, you should choose a scrub with moisturizing ingredients, and for oily, on the contrary, with drying.

Do not apply scrub to sensitive or inflamed skin, with abundant acne. Do not peel around the area around the eyes: the skin there is especially delicate.

How to use the scrub? Scrub is applied to damp skin, rubbed inmassage movements, and then washed off with a large amount of water at room temperature. After the peeling procedure, the skin needs protection, so be sure to apply a protective greasy cream on the skin.
