Soft toys with their own hands

Since the birth of all the kids try to take everything in the hands - so they will know the world. For their harmonious development, it is very important to touch the various surface surfaces. Soft toys with their own hands, sewn from silk, fleece, knitwear, tulle, fur and other fabrics will help become an excellent guide to this world.
Of course, in the modern world you can find toysfrom any fabrics and fillers, but they will not replace soft toys with their own hands, sewn with love. There are no restrictions for fantasy: you can embody any image in a toy, make it unique, exclusive.
Connect to creating your child's toy. Work with details trains fine motor skills, attention and assiduity. Think together what you want to create, draw on paper. Independently think about what parts you can divide the toy: head, trunk, pens, legs, ears. What form should they be? Will the limbs bend? Will the toy sit or stand? How can I stuff a soft toy so that it is interesting and pleasant to the touch? On the Internet you can find a lot of ready-made schemes, but it's better to create your own: but suddenly you will discover hidden talent.
Attract Pope to the creation of a toy: let it show its strength and dexterity, curling the wire for the carcass with pliers. Soft toys with their own hands, created with their parents, are much appreciated by the toddler.
Remember the safety rules of the baby:
- Keep the needles in a box with a magnet. In each needle, thread a colored thread: if it is lost, it will be easier to find.
- Use scissors with blunt ends.
- Depending on the age of the child, trust him with the tools with which he can cope. Shiloh, scissors, iron and sewing machine children can use, but only under the care of my mother.
Prepare materials and tools:
- Look for old things in the wardrobe, from which you cansew a new toy. Fur, lace, leather, cotton, ribbons - everything can come in handy. It is advisable that you do not use synthetic fabrics, since they can cause an allergic reaction.
- Multicolored threads of different thickness.
- For filling, take the sinters. This is an analog of silicone and sintepon (which is sold in rolls in garment shops), only looks like cotton wool, it is well washed and does not get lost. It is sold in packages. Separate small parts of the toy can be filled with beads or croup. Such a toy will turn out to be interesting to the touch. And if you fill only the lower part of the trunk, then it will sit well and not fall.
- Eyes and a spout for a toy can be purchased at clothing stores, or replaced with beads and buttons.
- Cardboard and thick wire are useful for the frame. With the help of wire, bent limbs will be able to keep their shape.
- Pliers and awl are also necessary for the installation of the frame.
- Chalk, ruler, copy paper will be needed for cutting parts.
Horse Pegasus
- As an example, we choose the simplest scheme for a toy - a horse. Draw on a piece of paper pattern - horse silhouette. Choose fur with a short pile or softfabric (fleece). On the back of the fabric, place the copy paper with the shiny side facing down. At the top, place the drawn pattern. Circle the pattern around the contour, pressing it so that it is printed through the carbon on the fabric.
- Turn over your drawing. Try to trace the outline on the back of the sheet to get a mirror image of the original pattern. Translate the new image on the fabric in the same way. Cut the patterns, 3-5 mm away from the outline of the pattern. An additional indent is needed for sewing. So that you do not forget to indent, you can draw its outlines on a pattern.
- Place the patterns face to face with each other. Sew along the drawn outline, leaving a small hole for the wings on the back and a little more on the abdomen. Turn out the horse, fill it with filler and sew up the abdomen with a hidden seam.
- Make wings from a wide lace or tulle, tying the fabric onknot in the middle. Be creative: make wings of multi-colored ribbons, on a wire frame, add a sequin, use shiny braids or threads. Place the knot between the wings in the hole on the back of the toy and sew it with a hidden seam.
- Make a tail and mane: cut the shiny braid and sew it to the trunk. Then sew the eyes and stitches "draw" the mouth.
- You can make a bridle of rope and sew a saddle from a dense fabric.
Experiment and fantasize. To develop motor skills, use different fabrics when sewing. Soft toys with their own hands can be gooda gift for a connoisseur of handwork. Vary with the size and colors. Try also to make interior dolls of Tilda, which are gaining increasing popularity.
