This is a Victorian instructive story about the old and hardened squirey Ebenezer Scrooge, who for one night is going through a deep purification test.Mr. Scrooge is a financier / money changer who devoted his entire life to the accumulation of wealth. He despises everything except money, including friendship, love and Christmas holidays.
