iMac

iMac - a completely new line of computers with excellent 21,5- and 27-in wide glass screens from edge to edge of a solid aluminum case.

Computers iMac became even faster thanks to processors Intel Core 2 Duo with a clock speed of 3.06 GHz and four core processors Core i5 and i7, doubling the performance.

Screen

The new iMac computers are equipped with displaysa diagonal of 21.5 or 27 inches. A 21.5- or 27-inch screen made of glass occupies almost the entire front of the case - from edge to edge. And when you see only the screen, nothing distracts you from what's happening on it.

In order to effectively illuminate the wide display in the new iMac, a bright LED backlight is used.

The resolution of the new 21.5-inch iMac is 1920 x 1080 pixels - the standard HD. The 27-inch iMac has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which is 78% more pixels than the 21.5-inch iMac.

The iMac can be viewed from almost any angle. This feature is provided by the technology of plane switching (IPS).

Glass covering the monitor with LED backlight, goes beyond the edges of the aluminum body.

The evolution of iMac

The new iMac has come a long way from the first 15-inch iMac. Design "all in one" The first iMac with flat screen allowed to cleaneverything is superfluous from the desktop. Necessary components: screen, processor, graphics card, hard disk drive, optical drive, memory and much more - were removed into one compact case.

One-piece body

On the case iMac you will find only a set of ports. There is nothing else on it. One-piece high-precision housing has a solid aluminum surface. From it comes only one wire - the power cord.

Cooling

The screen of the new iMac has become larger, and this allowsplace two of the hottest components further apart: the central and graphics processors. Thanks to this, all other components located in the iMac case do not overheat. In addition to this, engineers Apple equipped iMac intelligent systemcontrol, which monitors temperature changes and controls the volume of air supplied to key components. There are three fans inside the iMac. They are adjusted so that to work as quietly as possible. The system in the standby mode produces noise level of only 18 decibels.

Wireless Mouse and Keyboard

Each new iMac comes bundled with a wireless keyboard and a unique wireless mouse Magic Mouse. The new Apple computer is the first in a series that has such a standard equipment.

Multi-Touch Technology

Magic Mouse can do the same thing as a regular mouse: point, click, scroll - but it does not have a wheel, a ball, or buttons. All actions can be performed on its smooth surface - thanks to technology Multi Touch. The built-in chip determines when your hand is stationary or performs a gesture of scrolling, flipping through two fingers.

Other improvements

iMac has an elegantly narrowed aluminum stand. New speakers provide louder and clearer sound, better bass transmission and less distortion.
