High performance

JET in English means "reactive". The basis of its performance is a powerful 800MHz processor, while most smartphones on the markethave processors with a clock frequency of 300 to 620 MHz. Unlike smartphones, working mainly on Windows or Symbian, the new Samsung JET is controlled by its own operating system. In combination with a powerful processor, this gives high speed and maximum performance.



Having all the functions inherent in smartphones, JET copes with them better and faster, as it does not spend resources on the work of "heavy" and demanding to the hardware of the operating system.

All applications are started directly by the processor -this was made possible through the use of parallel architecture. As a result, the speed of JET is about twice as high as the average smartphone. In addition, a fast processor and a specially designed interface support multitasking. The user can simultaneously listen to music, browse the Internet and download content from the network as smoothly as on the home PC.

Easy operation with the new AMOLED display

Managing the functionality of Samsung JET is not easyconvenient, it's made really exciting. This is due to the 3.1-inch AMOLED-display and the new touch interface. AMOLED (active matrix on organic light-emitting diodes) is a new technology of manufacture of displays which Samsung implements in its phones today.



It allows you to produce ultra-thin screens withminimal energy consumption and extended service life, and thanks to the flexible substrate used in the production process, they are much better tolerated by mechanical influences than traditional screens based on LCD technology, thereby increasing the overall reliability of devices based on them.



However, the main advantage of such screensis a great picture quality. AMOLED provides a wide color gamut, natural color display, fast response time, high brightness and contrast and unlimited viewing angles.

The main element of the new 3D-touch interface is made in the form of a rotating cube that turns the launch of six main entertainment functions into an exciting game: photo album, music player, video player, FM radio, games and internet browser. And the usual gestures and changing the phone's position (shaking, flipping, writing letters on the screen) become commands for launching applications or activating the functions of the device.



This was made possible through the implementation of a specialalgorithm of recognition of gestures, developed by engineers Samsung. Thus, JET has become not only intuitive and comfortable in everyday use - it is organic, the most friendly and easily personalized device.

New multimedia features

JET allows you to view videos in brightdisplay, enjoying the phenomenal image without delays and trails in DVD-quality, listening to music, playing exciting games and much more. Video files, in addition, can be downloaded without prior conversion. A 5MP camera with a multitude of functions will allow to capture valuable moments as realistically as possible.

And, of course, a modern device is impossible without full-fledged work on the Internet. JET offers the user a wide range of Internet surfing opportunities thanks to a new browser and widgets.



Browser Dolphin It supports simultaneous work with severaltabs, and the task manager allows you to instantly switch between applications. The Microsoft® Exchange Server ActiveSync service, which is used for the first time for non-smartphones, synchronizes data in the phone directly from a remote server using a simplified menu.

Widgets - a function in the implementation of which Samsungsignificantly succeeded, found their application in the new model. They provide quick access to popular sites and services with one touch. For Ukrainian users, JET will be delivered with pre-installed widgets for Championat, Gistemeteo, Yandex-jams, RBC news, Afisha. The user can "pull" on the screen any widget that will display the required information.



In this case, you can independently set the period,through which the widget will access the portal and update information using GPRS or WiFi connection, as well as customize widgets, add them to the screen or delete them. In addition, JET is equipped with a module A-GPS, which turns a new tachfon into a full-fledgednavigator, able to indicate the path directly to the entrance to any city in the world. The device has 2GB of internal memory, which can be expanded with microSD memory cards, supports punctures HSDPA, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB.
