Growing Balsam from Seeds



If you want to plant a balsam, the seeds of which have excellent germination, wait until the threat of frost passes.



Sowing is needed around mid-May, when the temperature will be favorable for emergence - this is about + 23 ° C.




The seeds of the intangibles are quite large, so they are buried in the ground with a gap of 25 cm. After about 2 weeks, shoots appear.



To balsams began to bloom in May-June, the seeds are sown in early March.



A small layer (3 mm) of steamed river sand is poured on top.



In order to ensure a constant high humidity, the container with crops is placed under a film or glass. After the shoots appear, the protective coating is removed.



When the seedling grows up, it is dived into cups measuring 7-8 cm.



Balsamin is a heat-loving plant, therefore it is possible to plant seedlings in the ground when spring frosts end. Between plantings, a distance of about 25-30 cm is maintained.
