How to work with a video cameraSome useful tips to help you shoot better video with your home video camera

  • Practice in zooming, tracking an object, vertical panorama, moving, without writing to disk.

  • Experiment by placing the camera in a different position.

  • If possible, use a tripod. Hold the camera still, pressing the elbow of that hand to the body, and with which you hold the video camera.

  • Use the storyboard and the frame list as an instruction for shooting.

  • When taking a picture, watch whether an object is moving or it is stationary - this will help you determine how to remove it correctly.

  • Get used to moving with a video camera instead of using zoom.

  • Watch for continuity.

  • The angle of the camera affects the perception of the viewer, thenthere is, if you shoot from above, the object will look smaller and defenseless; if you shoot from below, the object seems large and strong; if you shoot at eye level, the object will look equal.

  • Before recording, record for 30 seconds with the lens cap removed.

  • For a smoother installation, start recording 5 seconds before shooting.
