Honored Hobbit Bilbo Baggins lives a quiet life, devoid of anyadventure. However, the wizard Gandalf the Gray persuades him to join the thirteen gnomes under the leadership of Thorin Duboshchit in a grandiose campaign, whose goal is to win from the sinister dragon Smog the lost kingdom of the gnomes Erebor and the treasures stored in it.
At the beginning of the journey, Bilbo only prevents the dwarves, but gradually he discovers in himself the cunning and courage that was hidden in the depths of his soul. And in his journey Bilbo will take over gold ring, which will give him the ability to become invisible. He does not yet know that a simple-looking ring can influence the fate of the whole Middle-earth ...
