Turin horseMarch 15, 2012 will be the Russian premiere of the film "Turin horse", Shot by the Hungarian director White Tarr. The premiere show took place in February last year in the framework of the 61st Berlin International Film Festival.



The film "Turin horse" begins with a prologue, in which we are transported to the Italian city of Turin. January 3, 1889 on the Turin Street happened strange event. The cabman whipped his old horse, which did not want to get off the ground. Suddenly an expensive dressed gentleman rushed to the horse and embraced her by the neck.




The passerby was forced to let go of the horse andtook home. It turned out that the man moved with the mind. The remaining eleven years of his life he spent in the hospital for the mentally ill. This man was none other than the famous German philosopher Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche...



From this point on his story departs on the secondplan, and the story focuses on a host of horse, a poor farmer, his daughter, and, of course, the horse itself. Animal helps its owners to earn a livelihood, but the horse is too old, and if she dies, a peasant and his daughter will be left without means of subsistence. How will this tragic story?



The film "Turin Horse" received the prize "Silver Bear"At the 61st Berlin IFF (Grand Prix of the Jury). Bel Tarr called him the film about the death, born of deep pain, which is constantly experienced by all people sentenced to the highest degree.
