How to register on Twitter?

First go to the main page of the site - twitter.com. It looks like this:

To start registering on Twitter, click on the big yellow button on the right side of the screen with the inscription Sign Up. The registration form will open:

What do you need to enter in the fields of this form?

1. Full Name. Enter the name and surname in this line (you canuse Cyrillic alphabet). You do not have to enter real passport data, of course, you can enter your own name and surname, or any pseudonym. The entered name will be displayed on your Twitter profile after registration.




2. Username is the username (nickname). It must be entered in Latin letters. User should be unique (when registering the system will check its availability itself). If such a username is already occupied, a message will appear near the field - "Username has already been taken". Then you have to come up with another user. The username is used to login to the site. It is user, and not the full name - your main name on the site.




3. Password is the password for logging into the site. When you enter the password, the system will tell you how safe it is (too short - too short, weak - weak, good - good, strong - strong, very strong - very strong). 4. Email address. Enter your e-mail address in this field. It must be active, otherwise you can not confirm your registration on Twitter.




5. Checkbox: "Allow other users to find me at the email address". Your address will not be shown on the site, butyour friends will be able to enter it into the search form and find you on Twitter. If you want to disable this option and do not allow you to find by e-mail - uncheck the checkbox.




6. Terms of Service - license agreement.




7. Button Create my account (create my account). By clicking on the button, you automatically agree with the terms of the license service and privacy policy.




8. The checkbox that offers you subscribe to newsletter about news updates Twitter. If you do not want to receive such emails by e-mail - uncheck this checkbox.

So, you clicked on the button "Create my account". A pop-up window will appear asking you to enter captcha, to prove that you are a living person, not a computer:
