Gaiters with knitting needles

For the more experienced, you can advise knitting leggings with knitting needles, using a pattern that you really like. Do not forget to pre-calculate it according to the report so that it ideally fits the dimensions of the product.

You can bind gaiters not only monophonic, but also multi-colored. Try to diversify their pattern in striped or square. And leggings can be decorated with pom-poms, satin ribbon or a fur brooch.

To tie gaiters, you can use two or four spokes. Accordingly, you will have either a canvas that will have to be sewn or a seamless fabric. Which option suits you more - the choice is yours.

To tie up the leggings, type on the spokes 48 loops and knit 100 rows in a circle rubber band 2 by 2. When finished with a regular rubber band, start knitting hollow rubber band. Add 12 loops in this elastic band, looping one loop through every four broaches of the hollow rubber band.

The hollow elastic band is used for knitting the edges. It does not go very far, so the product will keep its shape. The hollow elastic band is knitted in this way:

• 1st row (front): alternate 1 face and 1 one purl loops



• 2nd row (purl): the front loop knits in front, and the back is removed. The stretched thread remains before work. Try to pierce the purl loop from below, in this case the elastic band will be more accurate.



• 3rd row (front) and all the following: we removed the loop removed in the previous row, knit the facial, and the one that was tied - we remove. Do not forget to take off the loop from the bottom and leave the stretched thread before work.

Tip: the first row of hollow gum on leggings should be tied only with facial loops. Then broaches will not be very noticeable.

Spray another 12 rows with a rubber band and close the hinges with a needle. You can decorate the lower edge of the gaiters by tying crochet.

• 1st row: columns without a crochet in each loop of the fabric.



• 2nd row: tie 3 air loops and connect them with a connecting loop with a cloth every two pillars. As a result, you should get a wavy border.



• 3rd row: tie a 4 column with a crochet into the middle air loop of one "wave" of the previous row. In the middle loop of the next wave, tie a connecting loop. Continue to the end of the series.

Your leggings are ready. The presented variant of knitted leggings means knitting on 4 spokes. If you want to knit leggings on two, remember that the average length of the product should be about 48 cm and the width 28 cm.

Leggings knit together very quickly: for a couple of evenings you will have an exclusive accessory, which you can decorate to your taste so that it fits your clothes in color.

Knitted leggings with knitting needles are best combined with a skirt and shoes with heels. But do not dwell only on thisoption. They can be put under the boots, spreading the gaiters along the entire length. And you can pick them up a bit. And if you want to seem very extravagant, you can put them on sneakers.
