Master class: how to tie a summer cap with knitting needles

You will need:

  yarn "Tenderness" (cotton 47%, viscose 53%);

  tools: knitting needles 2, hook 2,5;

When knitting a summer cap with knitting needles size 55-56and a knot density of 2.5 loops per 1 cm, the yarn consumption will be only 70 g / 400 m. If you are already an experienced craftsman, then count the loops based on your knitting density, but you better knit your summer hat with a non-taut loop.

We knit the basis of the cap

1. 
   On the circular knitting needles we type 90 loops. You can do a preliminary fitting: dial 20 loops, tie with garter stitch 5 cm. The head volume in cm should be divided by the length of the resulting segment, then multiplied by 20, and you get the desired number of loops for knitting the cap. We use an elastic band for 1 person, 1 for 4 rows.

   In the fifth row, we begin to make openwork holes, so that the cap is light and lush.

   Now there will be 46 loops on the spokes.
   

   
   

   
   To complete the openwork holes, we sew knit in the back row: 1 persons, 1 cap.
