Care of flower gardens

If you planted flowers on your site, do not forget that they needconstant care and attention. In general, flowers are capricious creatures: they want to - spring up, they want - no, they want - they blossom, they want - no. Therefore, you need to make every effort to really become an adornment of your garden.
In order to reduce the amount of work to care for flowers, Remember to remember some simple rules.
First of all, plants should be planted at optimal distances and placed in such a way that they quickly form a whole area and cover the surface of the soil.
It is important to consider the features of flowering and its duration. And plant plants in the open ground, depending on their resistance to low temperatures.
So, you planted seeds or seedlings. Immediately pour your pad.
If some plants do not take root in the firsttime, then they can be replaced by new ones, similar ones. That's why you need to grow "spare" plants just in case, they may not be needed, but it's better than empty places in the beds.
It is often necessary to weed the flower bed, loosen the soil, remove the weeds around, feed the plants with organic and mineral fertilizers.
Watering adult plants on sunny days are necessary every day, preferably in the morning to 10 hours, and in the evening - after 19. When scorching the sun, never water your flowers, otherwise they will have burns.
Feeding plants need complex fertilizers, which include nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium - vital elements for plants.
It is important not to overdo it with fertilizer, otherwise the flowers may die.
The lack of minerals is also dangerous, as is their overabundance.
When there is a shortage of nitrogen, for example, the leaves grow actively, at the same time they cease to blossom. And if they blossom, it is very rare. Top dressing should be done at least once a month. Mineral substances can be in granules or liquid. But in any case, before applying the plant, it is necessary to water well. Nourishing with the use of nitrogen should be completed in July, and beginning in August, plant nutrition is based on potassium phosphate fertilizers that help strengthen plant tissues - this will help them withstand severe frosts.
In the autumn, you need to care for the flower beds in the same way as in the summer - and weed, and loosen the ground, and water. Plus, you can also plant bulbous plants.
Pay attention to the nutrient content and the acidity level of the soil.
If among the weeds there are a lot of horsetail and horsesorrel, this means that the acidity is high. On such soils you can grow hydrangeas, muscari, perennial asters. But tulips, peonies, roses grow better in soil, previously fertilized with lime. Peonies will flourish well on nutrient clay soils, and bulbous perennials - tulips, daffodils, hyacinths - on light sandy soils.
On poor in nutrient soils, lilies and roses do not grow at all.
In early September planted Muscari, Pushkinia, Hionodox, crocuses and other plants with small onions. Under each bulb, it is recommended to pour clean river sand with a layer of 2-3 cm in order to prevent pathogens from entering the bulb.
In mid-September planted daffodils. They must be planted before the roots are formed, because young roots can easily be damaged, and new ones do not grow anymore. In addition, so the bulbs do not take root and can freeze in winter. Under them also need to pour a layer of sand and strictly withstand the depth of planting. Correct planting promotes lush flowering, rapid reproduction, plants are less often sick.
At the end of September planted tulips. They are well rooted at a ground temperature of 9-10 C, and hyacinths at a temperature of 8 C, so they are planted in early October.
