Crocheting is an amazing art. Products crocheted, are obtained extremely airy, light, incredibly beautiful. You can also crochet decorative napkins, and soft toys, and even openwork blouses or dresses.

Crochet, of course, needs a hook. Hooks can be different: wooden, metal, bone. The thickness of the hook is selected in accordance with the thickness of the yarn, from which the product will be connected, - the hook should be 1.5-2 times thicker than the thread.

Before you start knitting, you need tolearn to keep the hook correctly. There are 2 ways: "knife" and "pencil". With the "knife" method, the hook should be held in the same way as the knife is normally held. Accordingly, with the "pencil" method, keep the hook in the same way as an ordinary pencil or pen.

The basic elements of crochet - an air loop, a column without a crochet and a column with a crochet. All other elements are derived from these basic elements.

Beginning of crochet with the first loop loops. The first loop knits like this:

The end of the working thread is thrown over the indexfinger of the left hand, with the middle and ring fingers of the left hand, press both threads lightly against the palm of your hand. Hook the working thread on the index finger and make a full turn to the left. Hook the hook under the hook with your thumb. On the hook was a crossed loop.

Once again, grab the thread on the index finger by moving on to yourself (from left to right) and pull it through the loop formed. Hold the end of the thread to the knot.

To form the next loop, the hook is inserted underthread, and, having captured it, stretch through the loop, which is on the hook. An air loop was obtained. If you continue to knit the loops in this way, you get a chain of air loops - the basic element of almost all the products crocheted.

When tying out air loops, it is important to monitor their size - the loops should be the same, even. Adjust the size of the loops when loosening by adjusting the tension of the working thread.

The next main element of crochet iscolumn without a crochet. To knit a column without a crochet, you must first tie a string of air loops of the required length. Then hook into the loop of the chain, grab it by pulling on itself and pull it out - you get a loop. Without taking down the previous loops, grab the thread and stretch it through the two available loops.

The column with the crochet is knit like this. Make a CAP. Nakid is the threading of the thread on the hook with the already existing loop on it. Hook into the loop of the chain, grab the thread on yourself and pull out a new loop.

Three loops were formed on the hook: loop, cape and another loop. Next, grab the thread and stretch it through the first two loops on the hook. As a result, there are 2 loops left on the hook. Retrieve the thread by pulling on itself and pull it through the available 2 loops.

Then repeat the knitting of the column, beginning with the crochet.

Columns can be knit not only with one cape, but also with two, three or more. In this case, each nakid is tied together with the loop in sequence.
