Step-by-step instruction for knitting a summer hat

In order to make a summer cap crochet, as in the photo, you will need:

yarn: YarnArt Summer 70% cotton, 30% viscose, 100g. / 350 m;

yarn consumption: 120 g;

knitting density of the main mating: horizontally, Pg = 3.9 loops per cm;

size of the cap: 55-56

Hat bottom

We select yarn for knitting a female hat. We choose a suitable scheme for the cap.

The scheme of the summer hat should be successfully combined withthick yarn. Use a natural thread when creating a summer headdress. In our master class a combination of schemes is used. The bottom and the field of the hat are knitted with columns without cords. The openwork pattern of Scheme 2 will complement the fields of the female cap and its lateral sides.

The bottom of the cap we knit with the columns without the crochet, we use the scheme 1. Adding the loops according to the scheme, the bottom of the hat will acquire a symmetrical pattern, as in the photo.

If you knit the bottom of the edge of the product will begin to acquire uneven shape, tie 3-4 rows of columns without a crochet, not adding loops. Then go back to the diagram.

The bottom of the female hat is ready. In the circle, there were 136 loops. The diameter of the product is 16 cm.

We knit the fields of the cap.

We knit the first row, increasing the number of loops. We knit two columns without a crochet in every second loop. Second row: 2 tbsp. b / n in every fourth loop. Next, we knit 17 rows of columns without a crochet.

Using the scheme 2 we decorate the hat with an openwork pattern. We send 5 rows, starting with the second.

To increase the fields of the cap, we add the numbercolumns with a crochet in the second and fourth row. In the second row, we bind not seven, as in the scheme, but eight bars with a crochet. In the fourth row, we increase the number of columns with a crochet to nine.

We tie the product in columns without crochets. The last row is tied together with a fishing line. You can not use a fishing line when knitting hats, but the edges of the product in this case may be sloppy. To the note: summer openwork hats, which do not keep the shape taken starch. An alternative option is to use the line when creating the product.
