New Year's crafts made of paper. Postcards

New-year crafts made of paper can make even a child, so making Christmas cards is also an excellent opportunity to spend more time with your child, doing needlework together.

New Year's card from the author's paper

To make such a postcard you will need:

• dense white paper (the basis of the postcard)


• pastel paper (multi-colored)


• thin paper (white)


• paints (acrylic)


• a sponge for ware


• conventional scissors


• figured scissors


• mocking knife


• glue

First take a thin white paper and cut outfrom it snowflakes of different shapes and sizes. You can use for this purpose a special figured punch for cutting out snowflakes, but if it does not, the usual scissors will do the same - it's true that the time for snowflakes will go down more. Centers do not cut out the snowflakes, but leave them solid.

Take the base for the postcard - a thick white sheetpaper or thin cardboard. Spread the snowflakes on it. Mix different shades of acrylic paint, dab a sponge in them and apply a paint on the postcard to it with "blurring" movements. The background will be painted over, and the places where snowflakes lie will remain white. To the snowflakes do not move, hold them for the center. Try to paint the background unevenly - to get the color transitions, you can even leave a pair of white spots.

Wait for the paper and snow to dry. Then spread out in a different order, mix a new background shade and repeat the steps from the previous paragraph. When the paper dries, use the mock knife to cut out the most interesting fragment of the resulting pattern.

Using curly scissors, cut the curb - twostrips of white paper. Take a sheet of pastel paper of the appropriate shade and glue to it several painted snowflake-stencils. If they protrude beyond the edges of the sheet, cut off excess parts.

Now you can "collect" a postcard. On the front side of the postcard, glue two pieces of paper, painted with a sponge (they will look more spectacular if you separate them with a strip of thin monophonic paper), from above glue a strip of pastel paper with snowflakes and separate it with a curly border.

A ready postcard can be additionally decorated with snowflakes, carved from foil, sequins, sparkles, etc.

To make this card, take:

• white paper (dense)


• silver paper


• satin ribbon


• paints (acrylic)


• wide paint tape


• double-sided adhesive tape or glue


• scissors or a knife


• thin marker


• rhinestones

Cut out a snowflake from a thick paper. Put it on a piece of wide paint tape, circle and cut using a breadboard knife - you will get a stencil. The most convenient way to do this is by sticking the adhesive tape on a special mat. Make several different stencils.

Take a rectangular piece of white paper andglue on it stencils of snowflakes (there must be gaps between them). It is important that the stencils fit tightly to the paper, otherwise the paint will leak under them. Mix a few shades of acrylic paints and use a sponge to apply them to the postcards with the stencils pasted. There should be several color spots that will overlap each other.

When the paint dries, remove the stencils from the paperand paste the rhinestones on the resulting silhouettes of snowflakes. The lower part of the card is decorated with a satin ribbon with bows. The color of the tape should match the color scheme of the picture. The ends of the tape should be straightened, folded over the edges of the postcard and pasted with a double-sided adhesive tape or glue.

Cut out a rectangle from a design cardboardor a dense silver paper - it should be larger than the resulting postcard. Glue a ready-made card onto the silver paper so that around it a small frame appears. The postcard is ready!
