How to make three-dimensional New Year cards from paper with your own hands
The New Year is a traditional time for gifts, andtogether with them and postcards. Many still retain the old-fashioned, but romantic tradition of sending postcards to relatives and friends by post, someone prefers to deliver the card in person, but in any case, a postcard made with one's own hand brings even more pleasure to both the addressee and the creator. Here are a few examples of how to make original and living voluminous postcards for the New Year with your own hands.
Volumetric Christmas card with a corrugated Christmas tree
This is a very simple version of a voluminous postcard, andwhile it looks very interesting and elegant. You can even make such a postcard with the children, they will surely like this simple and quick option.
We will need:
- colored cardboard,
- two-sided colored paper,
- scissors,
- glue.
Take a sheet of colored cardboard and bend it in halfacross. This will be the basis of our postcard, so it's better to take a cardboard with a white back side, or glue the inside with thin white paper or with a discreet light pattern. To the postcard well held shape and easily bent, you can more strongly shape the fold, with an effort to iron it with the scissors handles.
Now we are preparing the "twigs" of the future tree. We cut out rectangular strips of colored paper, so that each posterior is smaller than the previous one in width, and along the length a little more than the width of the base of the postcard. You can make all the strips of the same paper, or alternate lighter and darker shades. Then we bend our strips into the "accordion" and glue them on the inside of the postcard so that the middle meets and rests against the inner corner. Wide stripes glue from below, and narrow - from above, so that they form a herringbone. From above you can glue a small star or a snowflake folded in half. We decorate the outside of the postcard.
Cut out an elongated triangle from green paperheight slightly more than the height of the postcard and also make a light harmonica along it, not strongly accenting the folds, and glue the center of the face of the postcard. If desired, you can decorate this formed Christmas tree with any beads, sparkles or balls of foam.
Volumetric card with snowflakes
Such a postcard gives the impression of flying snowflakes and perfectly conveys the festive mood, and its creation does not take much time and will only bring pleasure.
We will need:
- blue and white cardboard,
- Packing paper with snowflakes or metallized silvery paper,
- sequins,
- glue,
- figured scissors.
Collapsing a sheet of colored cardboard in half whiteside inwards. Then cut out a strip of white cardboard with a height equal to the height of the base of the postcard, and about 8 cm in width. Bend the strip along so that the extreme sides are 1 cm and the inner sides - 3, and glue the rectangle into the corner of the inside of the postcard, bending the thin segments in the middle.
Now we are preparing small snowflakes(it is desirable that their size does not exceed 3 cm). They can be made of metallic silver colored paper or cut in any way from the finished packaging paper. Of white cardboard cut strip width of about 1 cm 0.5- different arbitrary length (but not longer than a folded card to not peeping) and glued to the edge of each of the snowflake.
Then these strips are glued to the bulka rectangle in the corner of the postcard on both sides in staggered order. The outer side of the postcard is decorated with a large beautiful snowflake (you can cut it out of beautiful paper or take a purchase) and small dots of glue, sprinkled with sparkles.
