A fish-telescope is an artificially obtained variety of a goldfish. For a long time, telescopes were bred only in Asia,Until the end of the XIX century the French aquarist Pierre Carbonier did not receive several fish for study. Fish-telescopes get along well with their "neighbors" in the aquarium, however, only ifthe latter do not aspire to eat telescopes for dinner. It is best to keep fish-telescopes in flocks of 6-8 individuals - this will require an aquarium with a volume of 150-200 liters.
Fish-telescopes can easily injure their outstanding in all senses eyes, but because the bottom of the aquarium, in which they, by the way,very fond of swarming, it is best to fill up with large sifted sand, smooth small pebbles - any sharp stones are contraindicated to telescopes. From plants for an aquarium with telescopes, it is best to choose those that have powerful roots and large hard leaves.
Such a fish as telescope in the aquarium is very active, so for good health of these fish, it is necessary to ensure good filtration and aeration of water. Also, telescopes require good lighting. Water Parameters for the maintenance of telescopes are as follows:
- water hardness (GH) up to 20 °;
- acidity of water (pH) 6,5-8,0;
- temperature (t) 12-28 ° C.
How can you feed fishes-telescopes? The answer to this question is quite simple: telescopes are very unpretentious in the choice of food and readily eat almost any feed, even vegetable, though alive, at least dry. Appetite at telescopes is good, and if you give them more food than is required for normal life, then they can overeat. The norm is the amount of food equal to 3% of the weight of the fish itself. To do this, enough 10-15 minutes of feeding, after which it is recommended to remove the leftover food from the aquarium. The daily rate of fish should be divided into two meals: morning and evening.
Contain fish-telescopes in a home aquarium by the forces of even beginners, but this does not mean that about these fishdo not care. As with any other fish, you should regularly clean the aquarium and replace the water, maintain the necessary water parameters.
