A new compact crossover with a sporty character Mitsubishi ASX (Active Smart (X) Crossover) MMC presented at the Geneva Motor Show 2010.
Especially for ASX was developed an exclusive color "kawasemi"- so in Japanese is called kingfisher, a turquoise-blue bird.</ p>

Design

Power Engineering sports aggressive car, backed by off-road qualities - ASX will not leave anyone indifferent. In the design of the front of the car uses a proprietary radiator grille Jet Fighter.



The concept of such a design is borrowed from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which produces a jet fighter F-2. ASX preserves the "compact wedge-shaped" design of the prototype Concept-cX with its sharply protruding characteristic side line.



The roof line goes down to the rear of the car, enhances the aerodynamic properties and highlights dynamic profile model.



Constructive innovations used in the creation ofgrille and bumper, are aimed at improving the safety of pedestrians in a collision, and also make the front part more visible to the driver, facilitating maneuverability in the city.

Ergonomics salon also offers a new qualitative level: excellent visibility for 360 degrees, soft upholstery on the contour of the center panel, as well as silver elements on both sides of the audio system and along the door panels.



Compact - does not mean close and limited in space. A spacious ASX salon with comfortable seats provides maximum comfortable landing of five passengers, three-dimensional (419 liters) is the trunk of the car.



In ASX, basic information will be displayed on the multifunction color display, which is located on the dashboard.



As a maximum, the new compact crossover is equipped panoramic roof with LED backlight.

Technology and Security

You can choose from a whole range of gasoline engines - volume 1.6 l (with a capacity of 117 liters), 1.8 l (140 L c) and 2.0 (150 L c). The front-drive car with a 1.6-liter engine is equipped with a mechanical gearbox, and with a 1.8-liter engine - a stepless variator with a mode of Sports mode.



Powerful two-liter all-wheel-drive ASX is offered both with mechanics, and with a variator. Urban residents will appreciate compact crossover dimensions (the length of the car is 4.295 m, the wheelbase is 2.67 m) and an off-road clearance of 195 mm, which the developers have specially increased for the Ukrainian market.



In addition, ASX is equipped with a battery of high capacity, coolant for cold climate, heated front seats and mirrors.

The car is equipped with a new kind of xenon lamps 160 ° Super-HiD "Wide Vision", which provide the widest lighting angle - up to 160 ° and have no analogues in the world. In addition, a set of active and passive safety devices includes:
