The story "Talking bundle" (also known as "Battle of the Basilisk Castle") Was first published in 1974. The heroes of the book are the brothers Peter and Simon and their cousin Penelope.

Cork trees grow there, which are fruited by stoppers for bottles and bubbles. There are so many wonders that you will not list everything.

But the Parrot tells the children that the enemy has expelled him from Mythland - the evil basilisks. They captured a magical land, and now its ruler, good wizard Ha-Ha (Hengistu Hiram Junkbury), and all the mythical creatures inhabiting Mythland, are in danger.

Peter, Simon and Penelope decide to go toMiflandia and help her resident drive away the basilisks. In the way they will have to overcome many dangers and meet numerous amazing creatures: a sea serpent Oswald, dreaming of becoming a cook; constantly hiccup firebird Feneulu; reasonable train by name Miss Hortensia; trustful and sensitive dragon Tabitha.

But the enemies of Mythland do not slumber: on the heels of the heroes comes the speaking toad Etelared, a Basilisk spy. Will our heroes be able to entice Ethelred to his side and defeat the decisive battle against the Basilisks?
