LiveLib - social network of readers
Social networks have ceased to be a curiosity andhave firmly entered our life. In addition to the "global" networks, more specialized networks have also appeared - for professionals or like-minded people. To such networks belongs and LiveLib - A social network for book lovers.

LiveLib project (Living Library) combines a club of fans of reading, personala bookshelf and a readers' diary, as well as an information resource. Here you can find reviews of the works that interest you, or share your review, get acquainted with quotes from books and biographies of writers, make your own list of books read and communicate with like-minded people.

To evaluate all the opportunities offered by the LiveLib network, you need to register. The registration process for LiveLib is fairly simple: you need to specify your email address, come up with a username and password. All other data is optional. Click Register and you are a LiveLib member.

Where to start? You can start to guide your readers' diary - a list of read books. To add a book to the list, click onlink "Add book" in your profile on LiveLib. Use the search on the site: enter the title or author of the book or ISBN number in the search bar and click Find.

In search results, click on the plus sign next to the book. You can choose the status of the book (I want to read,I read it now, have already read it), a copy that you have (a paper book, an audiobook, an e-book), tags (choose from the offered ones or add your own). You can add personal notes to the book that only you can see, or add it to your favorite list.

If the book you want is not listed, you can add it to LiveLib yourself. You can add it manually or import it fromOzone. If you decide to manually add, carefully read the rules for adding books to the site. Note that if you are new to the site (that is, you have just registered with LiveLib), you can not add books yet.

To books on LiveLib you can add reviews, rate and comment on reviews of other users. Just refer to writing a reviewresponsibly, otherwise it can be sent to the non-format section. If your opinion, in your opinion, does not attract a full review, but rather resembles a slightly chaotic set of impressions, you can add it to the "History" section. Also you can add your favorite quotes from the books.

But LiveLib not only helps keep a list of books read - here you can also find what to read. The site has ratings of the best books (the mostTop 100 best-ranked books, ratings of the best books by years), lists of novelties, lists of screened works, as well as lists of books compiled in flash mobs, when some LiveLib users recommend others what to read.

Also on the site LiveLib you can find biographies of authors, compile selections and "antipodes" of books (personal and collective). For communication there is a forum, and users with similar interests can be added to friends. LiveLib cooperates with publishers and book stores, conducts interviews with authors of books, organizes various kinds of competitions and free books.

Take into account only one thing - on LiveLib you can not read books online, the site is not an electronic library. Buy a book here, too, will not work. But users always prompt where you can get this or that book, besides, in the description of many publications there are links to shops where you can buy books in paper or electronic version.

The motto of the LiveLib project is "We retain knowledge!". This is a social network for those who like to read and share their impressions of what they read with like-minded people.
