Step-by-step instruction

1. 
   If you use a tracing paper, it is rather boringand white. Before you start, paint it in the color you want. To do this, we dilute watercolor paints with water and apply them to the entire surface of the tracing paper with a sponge or a broad brush (photo 1). To prevent moisture from wrapping around the edges, you need to fix them, putting the load on top. We are waiting for the paint to dry completely.


2. 
   Cut the colored tracing paper into 4 rectanglessize 1 m * 75 cm (photo 2). We start to cut out. For this, the resulting rectangles are folded in half, folded, their size is 1 m * 37.5 cm (photo 3). At the fold, we set the height 90 cm. From the bottom point perpendicularly measure 16 cm - this is the bottom hole of the flashlight. Then, on the bend from the bottom point, measure upwards 50 cm and from this point perpendicularly postpone 30 cm, this is the widest part. Now, by smooth lines we connect the point of the lower hole with the widest part and the upper point on the bend (photo4). Cut out the line, draw the already cut out side to the other 3 rectangles and cut it out too (photo5).

   We glue together all 4 sides of the lantern, applying a thin layer of PVA glue on the edges (photo 6). It is necessary to make sure that there are no glued sections left, otherwise the flashlight will not take off.

   We produce wire base. We measure the wire 30 cm long, turn around and make the crosspiece from the wire exactly in the center (photo 7). Lubricate the bottom hole with glue and paste the wire there, turning the edges of the tracing paper inward (photo 7).


5. 
   From the foil we form the fuel box (photo8), secure it securely to the wire cross and put the fuel inside. Now you can start a flashlight and make a wish!

Step-by-step instruction

1. 
   We inflate the balloon to the desired value.


2. 
   From the wire you need to create a frame aroundthe balloon. To do this, first fold the ring diameter of 5-6 cm - this is the bottom opening of a circular paper torch. Apply it to the bottom of the ball (photo1) and, without tearing off the wire, start spirally wrap the ball (photo2). The pitch of the spiral is about 1.5-2 cm. It must be done carefully, so that the ball does not burst early. When wrapped up to the top (photo 3), we again twist a 5-6 cm diameter ring from the wire - this is the upper hole. We fix the wire and cut it off (photo 4).

   From tracing paper kroim segments in the form of "slices" of orange(photo 5). You can build a pattern yourself or by using the online pattern generator of the ball, where you simply enter the diameter of the ball, the number of segments and get a ready pattern.

   Cut segments need to be glued towire frame and glue together. Using a brush, apply glue to the entire wire frame and glue the first segment on it (photo 6). Then we glue one edge of the glued segment with glue and overlap the next, not gluing, bottom and top edges to the end (photo7). Thus, we fix all segments (photo8).


5. 
   Wait until the glue dries. We pierce the ball and extract it. Lubricate the glue is not glued edges and turn them inside (photo9). Do not forget to attach the thread for hanging (photo 10).


6. 
   We decorate a torch with New Year's ornaments or with the help of a stencil and a sponge we apply a New Year's pattern. We put a garland or a light bulb inside. A pendant New Year's flashlight is ready!
