New Year's dolls: snowmen from socks

From multi-colored socks you get funny and cute New Year dolls in the form of snowmen. Make them quite easy, even a child can cope with it. To make such a New Year's doll you will need:

• 
  two socks (white and red)
• 
  thin gum
• 
  white and red thread
• 
  buttons
• 
  rice
• 
  material for packing (cotton wool, sintepon, etc.)
• 
  scissors
• 
  needle

Fill the white sock with rice to a height of approximately 2.5 cm. Then fill the sock with the filler until about the beginning of the heel. The rice in the base of the toy will give it the necessary stability. If you do not want to put a snowman, and hang, rice can not be used.

Roll a small ball of filler and putit in the toe. Grasp the ball outside (it will be as if in a sheath of cloth) and wind it around the base to make a snowman's hand. On the other hand, make a second hand. Another rubber band wrap around the toe to make a neck. In the end, it should turn out the same workpiece, as in the figure to the right.

Fill the head of the snowman with filler and fix it on top with another rubber band. Heel toe should be the face of a snowman. At this stage, you can change the shape of the snowman,shifting the gum. As soon as you are satisfied with the "figure" of the snowman, sew or thread the neck with white thread, hands and top of the head, and gently cut the elastic bands.

Now make a hat: put on a red sock on the head of a snowman,wrap the elastic band where the cap should end. Cut off the excess part of the sock, leaving about 2.5 cm after the gum, replace the elastic band with red thread. Part of the cap for the threads cut into strips, so that the hat has a pompom.

Sew two blue buttons to the eyes, orange to the nose, and three more black buttons on the snowman's body. From the remnants of a red sock, make a scarf. That's all! Such funny New Year dolls will certainly cheer you and your household.

New Year's dolls gloves

And it is possible to arrange for the New Year with the children a wholepuppet show. To do this you will need New Year's dolls gloves, which you can easily do yourself. Such a doll consists of a head and a T-shaped body (gloves proper). To make such a doll, you will need:

Make a pattern pattern for the glove (as in the right figure above) and cut two identical parts from the fabric - this will be the halves of your glove. Fold the details face to face and stitch together. The neck must also be sewn, leaving only a small hole in the middle.

Then you need to gently knock off the excess parts (paws, tail), if any. The tail and paws can be sewn to the glove (the torso of the future toy) in the right places. Now we need neatly screw the spring into the glove through the hole in the neck, so that the head and a pair of coil springs remain outside. And in the spring inside the toy, you will insert your fingers, playing the New Year's puppet show.
