To get started, you will need:

  • a ceramic bottle for sake, glasses and a tray;

  • paint for ceramics;

  • scraper;

  • a marker filled with paint for ceramics;

  • stencil;

  • ruler, pencil, scotch tape.

Preliminary step - cleaning and degreasingsurface of the item being painted. Perfect for degreasing is suitable for ordinary alcohol. Spots of paint or varnish are removed with a solvent. After degreasing, the surface of the ceramic should be wiped with a paper towel or towel.

Measure 3 cm from the bottom of the sake bottle,the surface of which is already defatted, and 3-5 cm from the edge of the sushi tray (of course, you can choose your own sizes) and make notes in Chinese pencil. Glue the transparent tape along the marks above the area that you will be working with the scraper. At the next stage you will have to work quickly, so that the red does not have time to dry.

Apply a thin, thin coat of paint with a flat brush. Evenly pressing on the scraper, draw them towards the edge. Put the first scraper tooth on the last drawn line and continue. Immediately after that, remove the tape. Remove excess paint with a damp cotton cloth. Before proceeding, wait for the paint to dry.

Copy the stencil and glue it with tape,putting a copy paper under it. If you do not have such paper, shade the back of the sheet with a simple pencil. Attach the stencil, notching it so that it densely lay on the convex surface of the product. Circle the lines with a ballpoint pen and gently remove the paper.

Strongly shake the blue marker and press ittip to the surface of the product for a few seconds. Draw the details using a stencil as a sample. Pass the foliage of the tree in circles, and the roof with strips. In short strokes, show shadows on the bushes. On the ground, make random lines. Try not to oil the paint in the bottom of the bottle.

Let the pattern dry or burnproduct before continuing. Then select a blue paint that is close in color to the markers, and mix the two shades by adding a solvent so that one light is lighter than the other. With a soft brush, apply a paint, and paint the distant objects darker to create the illusion of depth.

Add clouds in the sky and waves the lightestby the can. Clouds can be of any shape, but waves are suggested to make the horizon lines parallel. You can use a stencil or draw waves by hand, trying to convey them as realistically as possible.

After the paint has dried, walk again.on the drawing with a blue marker. Circle some lines (use the stencil as a sample) and make those that seem too light, darker. Try not to apply strokes too much, otherwise you can damage the paint layer. When you finish working on the sake bottle, use the same method for cups and a tray. Now burn items and admire them!

As an example of a pattern for painting, you can use this drawing. Increase it to the correct size and print.
