Prune Peeling

Peach is known for its high yield andgood nutritional value. It quickly fructifies, therefore it is necessary to constantly support its growth and development. Mainly on the yield and formation of fruits is affected by the right timely pruning peaches, in which you need to observe seasonality.
Pruning peaches in the spring and summer, considering that it is still necessary to do rejuvenationbranches after winter. The pruning of the fruit tree consists in preventing denudation of the branches, and the arrangement of the fruits is made uniform, bringing fruit to the main branches. The main branches must remain strong to withstand a certain number of fruits. It is therefore necessary to ensure that dry, painful branches do not take away moisture and nutrients that enrich the growth of the main branches.
Spring pruning is done in the phase of bud opening and the formation of the first buds. The shoots that fructified last year, completely cut. Considering the fact that the crown of the peach is cupped, it is necessary to make sure that the so-called "skeletal" branches are maximally manicured and protected. To do this, in May-June, weak shoots are removed, leaving 4-5 good shoots, which are located from each other at a distance of 7-10 centimeters. This is the "skeletal" branches, which form a cup-shaped field for fruiting.
If the central conductor remains in the middle, it is removed under the side branch, and the shoots left for further formation must be cut into 3 buds. In early June, a secateur is held green prune peel - plucking dry leaves and weak twigs.
During the summer pruning is also necessary as a special hygiene for the tree. Annual increments should be carefully checked, leaving strong and moderately developed, directed to the sides, located at a distance of 10-20 centimeters from each other. The remaining shoots, divided into two uniform parts, shortened by 6-12 kidneys, and the other - by 2 buds. The first type of shoots next year will perform the function of fruiting, and the second - the substitution. This pruning should be done during the summer no more than two or three times.
The last peach pruning is done in August. When the peach begins to bear fruit, it is necessary to do a rejuvenating pruning. At first, rejuvenation is made easy, and then gradually complicated.
Regardless of the degree of rejuvenation, pruning is performed on perennial wood, and the skeletal branches must be translated intolateral branches. If the fruit buds are placed in the upper part of the shoot, then for good fruiting should be left 13-15 kidney, and the kidney is removed superfluous. If you want to get very large fruit, the twig left on fruiting, shortened to 3 flower buds.
Rejuvenation of branches is another stage of peach pruning. After winter, some branches die as a result offrost, so you need to immediately make the crown clear and rejuvenate the healthy branches. Dry and diseased branches must be removed. In addition, as a result of winter, not only the fruit buds suffer, but also the wood itself, so it is necessary to make a strong pruning: perennial branches are cut into 6-8 leaf buds, and not strongly frozen annual shoots - by 2-3. It is not recommended to remove all the frozen branches at once. Wait until fresh shoots appear in the spring, otherwise the peach will die.
If all the flower buds died from frost, then pruning the peach will consist in removingwood, which fructified last year. Last year's growth should be cut into 2 growth buds to create a fruit link next year. In the absence of harvest, except for the specially retained fruit links (every 10-20 centimeters along the length of the skeletal branch), many extra shoots will grow from poorly formed buds, which need to be shortened, leaving one leaf.
Pruning must be done carefully. It should be taken into account that the peach is laying flowerKidneys only on annual shoots and is able to bear fruit on growths of the last year. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the growth of the "skeletal" branches, so that they do not lengthen, not allowing the fruiting kidneys to fully develop.
Pruning peaches is done annually, otherwise the harvest is reduced, the fruits are formednot large enough, and the trees begin to age. It is necessary to constantly stimulate the formation of young shoots, which every year must yield a high yield.
