The young man managed to reach the tranquil lands of Gaul, where he began a new life and became a truly believing person.







Years passed and the former slave returned toIreland, but already as a Christian missionary. For many years he carried God's word to local people and performed miracles. According to ancient legends, he managed to save the country from the invasion of poisonous snakes.



When is St. Patrick's Day?



Feast of the patron saint of Ireland - SaintPatrick 2016 - will be noted, as usual, in the early spring, namely on March 17. In many countries around the world, costume parades will be held on the occasion of the celebration, and the river crossing the city of Chicago will become emerald green for one day.
