Rembrandt: I'm blaming
A documentary film-essay in which fierce criticism of Greenaway's current illiteracy is affirmed through research and study of the painting Rembrandt's Night Watch.
Greenaway explains the background, context, plot, murder and motives of all the 34 depicted characters who, having united, secretly plotted the murder.
Through Rembrandt's paintings Greenaway takes us to Amsterdam in the 17th century. He paints a world that is democratic in its essence, but almost entirely belonging to twelve families. They are known as people who are not alien to charity and compassion. In fact, everything happens differently.
