How to treat warts

First, let's find out why there are warts and what can be evidenced by such appearances on the skin. Contrary to the conventional wisdom of wartsappear not due to the ingress of dirt on the skin, but because of the virus of the papilloma. This virus penetrates the human skin and can be very long in the incubation period. Due to a weakened immune system or due to stress, the skin may develop warts. But they do not appear immediately, but only after 4-5 months.
Warts are divided into several species. They are common (growths 3-10 mm in diameter, coinciding with the color of the skin), plantar, flat (very small nodules), pointed (appear on the genitals) and senile (gray or brown). The latter are not associated with the virus, but with age-related changes in the body.
As a rule, warts disappear themselves when the body restores its functions and the immune system begins to fight the papilloma virus. A month later, another wart must passherself. But that's just not always what we take for a wart, that's it. Therefore, contact a dermatologist to determine exactly the cause of this skin growth. And if you notice that the wart changes shape and color, it is constantly injured due to mechanical damage, its boundaries are vague or the amount of papillomas increases - you urgently need a doctor's consultation. After all, it may turn out that such a cutaneous growth is not just a viral infection, but a more serious disease.
There are many ways how to treat warts. You can contact a dermatologist who will prescribe a specific method for removing the wart. At the moment, it is very rare that papillomas are surgically removed with a scalpel. There are more effective methods, such as cryotherapy (freezing with liquid nitrogen), electrocoagulation (cauterized by high-frequency current), laser surgery, chemodestruction (burning with the help of corrosive substances) and wave and wave method (powerful radiation of radio waves heats the wart from the inside).
In addition to the above methods, there are also folk remedies that have long been used to treat warts. Only with their application should we take into account thatYou are a wart, not another disease, disguised as it is. In addition, do not use only one recipe: what helped one person does not necessarily help another. Therefore, try to observe what kind of folk remedy the wart reacts best.

Since the onion juice and vinegar can very strongly burn the skin around the wart, we advise you to protect it with a piece of patch or polyethylene: cut a small hole in it just under the size of the papilloma.
Another way how to treat warts. Try using a wormwood compress. Pour 3 tablespoons of wormwood with a glass of boiling water and let it brew for 2 hours in a sealed container. Every day, make a compress using this infusion.
Try also to impose on the wart a bandage with mashed leaves of Kalanchoe. The bandage should be changed for fresh once a day. A week later, the wart should disappear.
