Thillandsia - care
A very beautiful plant of Tillandsia can easilygrow in our home environment. But it is important to observe some rules - the winter period should be cool-warm and dry, and the summer-cool-warm and humid. Ideally for growing tillandsiya place near the window or on the insulated loggia, oriented to the south or west.
Care for Tillandsia is as follows:
- Maintenance of humidity of air not less than 60% withspring to autumn. From late spring to early autumn, daily spraying with warm, soft water is required. There is no root system in atmospheric Tillandsia. It grows strengthened on a wooden, plastic, wire stand or frame. Nutrients are obtained by spraying, which completely replaces watering.
