The symbol of the Day of All Lovers is, of course,paper greeting card - valentine. Valentines come in different colors, different sizes, with confessions of love or with comic wishes. The only thing that remains unchanged is the shape of the heart. What to give your second half to the holiday on February 14, than to surprise your family and decorate the room or office? On the New Year it is customary to decorate a Christmas tree. And for Valentine's Day - make a tradition to decorate the room with an original tree made of paper hearts, made by yourself. How to make a tree of hearts with your own hands
The tree, as you know, is a symbol of well-being andgrowth. A tree of hearts made by own hands is a pleasant confirmation that your love is not a momentary hobby, but a growing, blooming, creative feeling. To produce a festive tree for Valentine's Day, we will need: colored cardboard or colored paper, a simple pencil (preferably with a thin lead), scissors, glue, slices of twine, several branches, a vase.
In choosing a color cardboard, your taste is important andfantasy - you can make hearts monophonic - classical pink or red, and you can surprise and please your loved ones with your own drawing or recognition on petals made of terracotta paper. Branches try to collect on the nature or do it yourself, cutting several pieces of solid twine. The color and size of the vase - at your discretion. For the hearts on the tree to look like real flowers, we need to make them bulky. Like this? Yes, it's very simple!
Tree on February 14 with your own hands - step by step instruction
Step one
Cut the colored cardboard into equal parts. For the production of a single flower-heart, 7 equal rectangles of colored cardboard with a size of 5 x 8 centimeters will leave. We put together 7 pieces of cardboard. On the upper rectangle draw a thin heart with a thin pencil. Bend the folded pieces in half. Cut off all unnecessary. One movement with scissors - and we got seven paper hearts at once.
Step Two
The glue comes into play. It is better to use glue-pencil in the form of lipstick - conveniently, quickly and accurately. We put one heart in half. We spread one side of it with glue. We take another heart. We glue the same side to the first "heart".
Already something happened! By the same principle, we connect all the remaining cardboard hearts. Do not forget to press the glued parts tightly with your fingers. On top of the heart with the same glue-pencil we fix a string, string or postal twine. Our seven-flower flower is ready! It remains to make such a few and hang on the harvested twigs in the vase. How many miracles will be, what colors they will be - it's up to you.
