How to get rid of aphids? There are several ways and means to combat aphids. Let's consider the main ones. The number one agent is celandine. It should be cut finely and pour a bucket of slightly warmed water. Then add about 20-25 grams of ordinary household soap and leave this solution infused for two to three hours.
At the end of this time, strain the solutionThrough a sieve in any convenient for you capacity. This liquid should be treated with damaged tops of shoots of bushes and trees. By the way, the celandine for these purposes should be taken fresh, not the one that appears at the end of the summer - dry and coarse. In this form, it loses its healing properties.
You can also use tomato tops. To do this, finely chop it, pour a bucket of water and boil for half an hour. Then take about a glass of this solution and dilute in 800 ml of water. Such a solution should be sprayed plants affected by aphids. Potato tops are no less effective. From it you can cook the infusion.
To do this, take 1-1.5 kg of green mass from the tops of potatoes, add in it 8-10 liters of heated water and insist for 3-3.5 hours. Strain the solution and treat affected areas of the plant.
You can also remove the aphids with the help of good old makhorka. Take 100-120 g of tobacco dust and 1 liter of water. Boil water and let it boil for 40 minutes.
Protsedite solution, dilute 400 g of decoction in onebucket of water and treat plants damaged by aphid colonies. To increase the efficiency, repeat this procedure a couple of times, taking breaks in 2-3 days.
An excellent adjuvant in the control of aphids is wood ash. It should be introduced into the soil as a fertilizer, since wood ash contains a lot of potassium.
This procedure should be done every springand autumn. Under each tree or shrub, apply 1-1.5 buckets of ash solution. Then make a digging of the soil. This method is especially effective for plums and apple trees.
In the summer, with the same wood ash, trees can be pollinated. The whole procedure can be done no more than 2 times per season.
We recommend trying another effective method of fighting aphids - infusion of garlic. Prepare it can be quite simple. Take 200-300 grams of garlic, as well as 1 liter of water.
Garlic can be cut, or you can throw the whole into the water and insist for about a week in a closed container. Then strain the solution and dilute about 300 ml of infusion in 10 liters of water.
Treat sick plants. To avoid accustoming plants to decoctions and other agents, alternate different solutions. And finally, one more tip: for prevention and control of aphids, it is important to make the treatment of plants in early spring, in order not to let the aphids settle on them.
