How to tie a crochet hook
They usually tie the slippers with a hook andmuch less often - on knitting needles, it's just less convenient. A good way to connect such uggs is to make them out of several parts, namely the very sole of the old sneakers, the toe of the boot that covers the leg to the ankle, the heel and the boot. Select the yarn; Do not stop just in one color, knitted boots look no less beautiful, if they are connected from two or three matched colors.
Take old slippers of your size, durablean awl (a needle, even the thickest one, is most likely not suitable at the first stage), an ordinary needle, scissors, a hook and yarn. Cut all the fabric from the slippers, leaving one sole with a narrow, about 2 cm, a piece of sock in front. Puncture with an awl along the perimeter of the sole of the hole and sew with a solid seam.
This will be the basis for consolidating it alla boot. To make the transition from this series-base, tie one row with a column without a crochet, clinging it to the base, and then - a column with a crochet; repeat, alternating them and changing, if you want, colors, until the sole is tied to 4-6 rows.

How to bind uggs with knitting needles
Be based on the knitting pattern of a conventional sock. Knitted needles of a house ugi rarely have a firm sole, but you can always sew it later, using the same awl. You can also tie the bottom of an ordinary knitted slipper more tightly, you can make a slipper-tab from fleece and put it inside the knitted, just sewing it. Otherwise, use a standard sock scheme, just make it looser and higher in the bootleg, and the bootleg itself with a specific viscous or decorations-ribbons, buttons.
