New Year's articles - flower gerbera in the technique of quilling
To make a New Year's craft, you will need:
Strips of paper for quilling black, 0.3 cm wide.
Thin cardboard or thick paper, on both sides painted in orange.
Glue for paper.
Ruler.
Scissors, clerical knife.
Toothpick or cotton swab for glue application
Instructions for the flower:
A black paper stripe for a quilling length of 60 centimeters is wrapped around a toothpick or quilling needle in a tight spiral.
Tightly gripping your fingers, remove the spiral from the instrument. Fix the tip with glue so that the spiral opens. After the glue dries, squeeze the core of the spiral forward using the flat end of the pencil or felt-tip pen. Using the finger or the rounded end of the needle or needle for quilling, complete the shape of the dome.
Cover the inner surface with a thin layer of glue to fix the shape.
From an orange thin cardboard cut 4rectangle: 2.5 by 10 centimeters 4 by 10 centimeters by 5 by 21.5 centimeters by 7.5 by 28 centimeters Bend each rectangle in half? without making an acute bend. Bend is not needed, otherwise it will destroy the flower petals pattern.
Scissors make cuts along the fold of eachbent rectangle. On small rectangles, make incisions every 2-3 millimeters. On large rectangles, cuts can be made every 8 millimeters-1 centimeter.
Connect all rectangles with glue, connectingconsistently from the narrowest to the widest. The end of the narrow rectangle is glued to the black core of the flower, twisted from a strip of quilling paper in the shape of a dome.
Wrap the rectangles around the core. Periodically fix with glue. Tip the adhesive on the back of the flower with a thin layer of glue to fix the shape.
A ready flower can be used to decorate gift wrapping, or attaching an eyelet to it, hang it on a Christmas tree or on a curtain.
You can even make a whole paper bouquet. In any case, the best advisor will be your own imagination.
