Junior Eurovision Song Contest: participating countries 2015 and winners of all years
Junior Eurovision Song Contest is a prestigious contest foryoung talents, which allows talented children to demonstrate their vocal skills. Unlike the adult version of the contest, it is much younger and in 2015 will be held only for the thirteenth time. Despite this, for 12 years the children's Eurovision has gained immense popularity and thousands of fans around the world.
The rules of the competition for children were based onprinciples of adult Eurovision, but they are somewhat different. First, participants can be children aged 8-15 years. Secondly, the time frame for voting has been slightly increased. You can give preference to your little idol right after the beginning of the first song. Thirdly, the performer must necessarily be a citizen of the country that he will represent at the contest. In addition, a maximum of 18 participating states can participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Winners of Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Contestants of children's competition have always been distinguished by excellent vocal data, and winners often became popular not only on the territory of their country, but also in neighboring states.
Since 2005, this song contest is held inaccordance with a pre-selected topic. Only the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest became an exception - after some time the contest theme was rejected. Then the winner was Vladimir Arzumanyan from Armenia with his amazing composition about his mother.
Junior Eurovision 2011 was held in Yerevan. 1 place in the contest was won by the Georgian band "Candy", who performed an incendiary song called "Candy Music".
There is a significant difference between the Junior Eurovision Song Contestfrom an adult. The winner country is not obliged to host a competition for the next year. She has the right to do so, but she can refuse. In this case, other countries submit applications with the proposal of their candidature, and the special commission chooses the host party. For example, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 was held not in Georgia, but in the Netherlands, in the city of Amsterdam. The victory went to Ukrainian singer Anastasia Petrik with the composition "Sky". Kiev agreed to host the contestants in 2013, so the children's Eurovision 2013 was held in Ukraine. 1 place on it was taken by the representative of the beautiful country of Malta Gaia Kauki, who performed her musical hit in English "The Start". In place of the small singer in 2014 came the Italian representative Vincenzo Cantello, who performed the song in his native Italian "Tu primo grande amore". The boy impressed the audience with his sincerity and talent.
It should be noted that the winners of the children'sEurovision does not stop and continue on its way to the big stage. So, for example, Tolmachyov's sisters at the 2006 Junior Eurovision Song Contest became winners, having performed the song "Spring Jazz" in Romania, and in 2014 Maria and Anastasia Tolmachyova took advantage of their children's experience and went to conquer the adult Eurovision Song Contest. Unfortunately, they did not win this time.
