Paulo Coelho Eleven Minutes

The great goal of every human being is to realize love. Love is not in another, but in ourselves, and we awaken it in ourselves.

But in order to awaken her, this other one is needed. The universe only becomes meaningful if we have someone to share our feelings with.

As a rule, these meetings occur at the moment when we reach the limit when we feel the need to die and be reborn. Meetings are waiting for us - but how often do we ourselves evade them!

And when we were desperate, realizing that we have nothing to lose, or vice versa - we are too happy about life, the unknown is manifested, and our galaxy is changing orbit.

From the author

On June 29, 2002, a few hours before putting the last point in the manuscript of this book, I went to Lourdes to collect miraculous water from the source there.

And now, already in the sanctuary, some kind ofa man about seventy years of age asked me: "You must have been told that you are very similar to Paulo Coelho?" I replied that Paulo Coelho was in front of him. Then this man embraced me, introduced me to my wife, introduced me to my granddaughter, began to talk about the important role that my books played in his life, and finally added: "They make me dream."

I did not hear these words for the first time, but every timerejoiced at them. However, at that moment he was greatly confused, for he knew that "Eleven Minutes" was a book about such an object, which could both embarrass, shock and injure.

I reached the source, got water, returned, asked where this person lives (it turned out - in the north of France, on the border with Belgium), and wrote down his name.

This book is dedicated to you, Maurice Graveline. I have obligations before you, before your wife and granddaughter - but also before yourself: I have to talk about what cares and takes care of me, and not about what everyone would like to hear from me.

Some books make us dream, others - are immersed in reality, but they are all imbued with the most important for the author's feeling - sincerity.
