How to choose a job

Perhaps the most obvious answer lies on the surface - this is choose a job that pays more. But in fact, not everything is measured in money. There are many things that can compensate for a lower salary. We will say right away that we are talking about finding employment in approximately the same positions, when there is no need to choose from two different activities.
To select a job, you need to prioritize. What else is important to you in your work besides, of course, wages? First of all, this is a social package. Unfortunately, not all employers correctly interpret this concept, and not all applicants know what actually should be included in the social package.
Those guarantees, which are fixed in the Labor Code, do not include in the social package: the employer and so obliged to provide youpaid sick leave and regular paid leave, social insurance, reimbursement of transportation costs (if your work is connected with traveling), travel expenses. The social package is bonuses that are not registered by the TC, but the employer can provide them.
So, the social package can include payment for mobilecommunication and gasoline when using a personal car, providing housing to out-of-town workers, medical insurance (including for family members), bonuses and gifts, training at the employer's expense, corporate events, etc. Therefore, it makes sense to choose a job with the most attractive social package for you personally and bypass the tenth road of employers who, under the guise of a social package, are presented with something that is already due to you by law.
In addition, important The prospects that the chosen work opens to you. Everything depends on what is more important for you: career growth with promotion or improvement in professional terms, which may not be accompanied by the transition to a new hierarchical step. A salary increase is possible in both cases, so look what is more comfortable and desirable for you personally.
Undoubtedly, the team is also important at work. An unfavorable psychological climate canto eliminate all other advantages. Of course, it's hard to assess this without having been in the team for at least a few days (in words everything can be good, but until you "bite" in it, you probably will not know anything). But all the same it is necessary to try to look narrowly. For example, if you see that in the team are mostly your peers, this is already a plus with the possibility of comfortable communication. And look closely to the future boss: if he immediately caused you to be antipathetic, it is unlikely that you will then be comfortable working in this place.
An important factor is the remoteness of work from home. Of course, "remoteness" is a relative concept, and it depends on the size of your city and the kind of transport you have. What in small towns will be "at the other end of the city", for a metropolis can be a small distance. In any case, all things being equal, it is worth choosing work closer to home, so as not to stand in traffic jams and not to jostle in public transport.
Another important work schedule. Here, again, it all depends on your personalpreferences. Someone needs a flexible schedule or a free schedule, because to sit at work from nine to six there is no possibility: the family, studies, even banal biorhythms do not allow. And someone, on the contrary, would prefer to choose a full-time job and a normalized schedule, because it disciplines.
To finally select a job, you can create a comparative table. The lines will list your priorities(include in it everything that comes to mind - perhaps some of the possible advantages in this article, we forgot to mention). And in the columns - possible places of work. In the cells, put the pros and cons depending on whether the particular place of work has some advantage or not. And depending on the number of pluses, choose the place of work to your liking.
