Mathematics refers to the compulsory subjects. This year the exam has undergone major changes: it was divided into basic and profile levels. Basic level of the Unified State Exam on Mathematics
The work of the basic level consists of 20 tasks,which require a short answer (an integer or a fraction is written in the form). The maximum score is 20. In the course of the work, the skills and abilities to use mathematical knowledge in real practice are checked, namely:
ability to do calculations and transformations
the ability to solve inequalities and equations
ability to work with functions
ability to build mathematical models
ability to perform actions with geometric figures

combinatorics, probability theory (individual elements)
The work is given 180 minutes, the use of the ruler is allowed.
Profile level of the Unified State Examination in Mathematics
EGE profile level is two-part and consists of21 tasks. The first section contains 9 questions suggesting a brief numerical answer. 12 tasks of the second section check the level of profile preparation. 5 questions require a short answer, and 7 - require a detailed answer.
Tasks 1-14 are estimated at one point, 15-17 - two points, 18-19 - three points, 20-21 - four.
There are 235 minutes to complete the work. Graduates can use the rulers, as well as the necessary reference materials.
How to Prepare for the Unified State Exam on Mathematics
Start training is not less than a year,provided that you have a knowledge base. Decide on which version of the USE math you choose (basic or profile). To do this, you need to carefully study the requirements of the university, in which you go. Evaluation of their own strengths and identify gaps will help resolve the demos of the USE past.
