The structure of the work in English, as well asearlier, is divided into 2 parts: oral and written. The second includes tasks for checking grammatical and lexical knowledge, writing skills, reading skills with information extraction, listening. The oral part of this year included speaking. It includes reading the text, a brief dialogue and two monologues: a description of the proposed image and a comparison of the two pictures. Speaking is given on a separate day, language labs and special programs are used to conduct the exam, allowing you to record a speech. The oral part is given at will, for it you can get up to 20 points.

In the written part, the graduates are invited to write a personal letter, using existing cliches, and composition-reasoning. When preparing to write a letter to a friend, consider the following points:




  • The volume of the statement is 100-140 words.


  • Do not forget:


  • specify the address (house number, street, city, country) in the upper right corner


  • start a letter with an informal address to the person


    • The composition must be three-part:


    • entry - thanks for a friend's letter, etc.


    • the main part - the answers to the questions of a friend, questions to him


    • conclusion


    • You should use cliché phrases typical for this genre.





Composition-reasoning is a more complex genre, while writing it you must demonstrate knowledge of the features of the formal style and the ability to apply the appropriate lexical-grammatical constructions.



Preparation for the EGE in English



Make a plan for the statement and clearly adhere to it:




  • Part 1 - wording of the problem


  • Part 2 - the argumentation of one's own position


  • Part 3 - conclusion-generalization.



English language exam: listening



Auditing includes three types of tasks: to understand the main content, to highlight the required information, to complete understanding. The recording is repeated twice. After the first listening is to answer those questions in which you are sure, the second - to focus on the rest. It is important to carefully read the assignment.
