One of the most optimal options issling on the rings. Sewing it is quite simple, and thanks to the presence of rings, this model can be adjusted in length and depending on the position of the child. In addition, in our master class there will be pockets in the tail of the sling so that you can carry with them such trifles as a pacifier or a handkerchief.

Necessary materials:

Cut off the fabric (coarse calico, linen or cotton) 1, 5 m by 1 m.

cut fabric with a pattern of 1 m by 50 cm.

thin sintepon 20 cm by 37 cm.

Attention! Do not skimp and buy plastic ringsin a curtain shop or elsewhere. Rings must be specially designed for sling. It is important! After all, the load on them is very substantial and for the sake of the child's safety it is better not to take risks.

The main stages of sewing yourself:

From the main fabric we cut the canvas - we cut a strip 80 cm wide.

From the fabric of a different color we sew a pocket and a "shoulder". Cut out a pocket in the size of 30x80 cm.

On a note! In principle, you can make a completely monochrome sling, but the combined colors look brighter and more interesting.

Now cut out the "shoulder" - a rectangle 43x92 cm.

The cloth of the main part from two long sides is sewn into the hem, not reaching one edge of 30 cm. There will be a pocket sewn on it.

We pass to the pocket. We sew its upper part with our own hands, and then apply to one edge of the sling cloth face to face and we rub on three sides.

We turn inside out and perform decorative stitching.

Since the resulting pocket is quite large, and so that it does not stick out, it needs to be divided into several small pockets. Therefore, we lay a few lines across.

Now let's deal with the "shoulder". This is the same place at the sling, which is put on the shoulder of the mother. Prepared a rectangle stitching along first with your hands, and then on the typewriter, and turn out.

We have a seam in the middle, and the edges are pressed inward by 1 cm. On one side, the hole is sewn, and on the other - we leave it open. Inside, we insert a sintepon approximately 20x37 cm.
