• base for mosaic (a sheet of cardboard or any thing you want to decorate);

You can use shells from raw as well as from boiled eggs. The main thing is to carefully remove the inner film from it. Do not take the shell with a stamp, its hardRemove, or paint it with dark paint. You can take the already painted shell from Easter eggs, or you can color the shell yourself. For painting the shell, any quick-drying paints, for example, liquid acrylic, are used. You can paint already prepared mosaic from a white shell, and when the paint dries - sand it, having achieved a very interesting effect.



When the dyed shell is dry, grind it, for example, with a rolling pin for dough. So that it does not stick to the rolling pin, you can put a shell between two sheets of thin paper. The size of the pieces depends on the size of the mosaic pattern from the eggshell. Remember that large pieces look untidy, and small ones are difficult to glue, and they do not give the effect of a mosaic.



Farther prepare the surface, on which there will be a mosaic of eggshell. If this is a finished product, sand the surface, primitate it and color it with the same acrylic paints. Sheet of cardboard give the necessary size and shape, cutting it with scissors. Then, the outlines of the future mosaic from the eggshell are painted on the surface. If you can draw - draw a mosaic plot yourself. If not - cut out the stencil from the cardboard and circle it. For a stencil, you can use a drawing from a children's coloring book or find it on the Internet and print out any picture without an abundance of small details.
