Frame for a photo in the technique of decoupage
To make a frame for a photo you will need:
- wooden picture frame
- acrylic paints: brown light, brown dark, gold
- varnish acrylic colorless
- PVA glue
- decontaminated napkins with the image of the fizalis
- flat brush synthetic
- round pony brush
- sponge
Manufacturing.
The surface of the photo frame is prepared for painting and a layer of brown light paint is applied on it.
When the first coat of paint dries, apply a layer of brown dark paint to the frame.
Leave the frame until the paint dries completely.
From the decoupage napkins to cut out images of fizalis (it is important to make sure that there are no traces of background on the cut out part). Cut out images to place on the margin of the frame at your discretion.
Using a brush, glue the PVA on the front side of each picture. The brush moves from the center to the edges.
When the glue dries, take a little gold paint on the sponge and gently press it against the tips of some leaves to give them more expressiveness.
When the paint is completely dry, coat the frame with a layer of clear acrylic lacquer.
Tip: when painting the frame, you should cover with paint not only the front side of it, but also the inner and outer ends, and the pictures should be glued so that their small fragments lightly come to the ends of the frame.
