For the preparation of syrup you will need 10 tbsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. water and juice of half a lemon. Mix all ingredients in an enamel saucepan, put it on a minimal fire and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
The syrup should be boiled for about ten minutes, without forgetting to stir it. It is very important not to change the heating temperature - neither before boiling, nor after. The finished syrup should not be too liquidconsistency, golden brown color and caramel odor. The syrup should be allowed to cool. Its temperature should be such that you are not burned, but it should not have time to harden too much. Take a small lump of syrup and grasp it well in hands: it should get a light brown color and a consistency of soft plasticine. Pasta for shugaring should be well spread over the skin, without sticking to the hands.
If the mixture clings too much to your hands, you may not have cooled it enough. If the syrup does not roll into the ball, you can drop a drop on it (but only one!) hot water. If water droplets are not enough, you can try putting a container of syrup on a water bath, add a tablespoon of water, melt it and cool again.
Before the shugaring, you need to degrease the skin with the help oflotion. It should be clean and dry. Roll the ball out of the syrup over the skin against the direction of hair growth in such a movement, as if you are spreading butter on bread. With one hand, pull the skin, and the second sharply tear the paste along the direction of hair growth strictly parallel to the skin - along with her hair will come off. Note: the paste is applied against the growth of hair, and is removed by growth, this shugaring is fundamentally different from wax epilation.
If the first time, not all the hairs have retired, apply the same paste on the same skin area. Unlike other types of depilation, there will be no irritation. You can continue to remove the hairs with the same piece of sugar paste until it is easy to apply to the skin and tear off. When the paste begins to stick to your hands, take a new piece. The remnants of the paste are easily removed from the skin in the shower or with a wet wipe.
If you have extra paste left, you can store it until the next procedure. To do shugaring at home with an "old" paste, before the procedure you just need warm it up in a water bath.
