How to properly draw the title page of the report
Diploma, course, essays, essays, reports and, perhaps, with a dozen other names - all that the student has to endure until the moment of his graduation from a higher educational institution. Sometimes we, the students, think that the text work is not so important to the teachers themselves, because they always find fault with the correct layout of the title page of the report. It was given to them. Therefore, the error can be in the text inside the course or abstract, but God forbid something does not like the professor on the first page. Hence the question that has come to the fore: how to arrange the title page of the report?
State standards for the title page of the report: stupidity and truth
In fact, there are certain GOSTs inregistration of term papers, theses and abstracts. As it turned out in the process of searching, there are several of them: GOST 21.101.97, GOST 2.105-95, GOST 7.32-2001. As for GOST 21.101.97 - I was sad to see that this standard is given by "Internet specialists" as rules for the design of title pages. Apparently, some time ago some enterprising college student, not reading the name of the standard itself and the field of its use, saw in it the rules for creating the main page, just forgot to read the names for which specific jobs it was intended and laid out the standard number on the network, having given out as rules of registration course and other works. The GOST itself is called: "System of project documentation for construction", "Basic requirements for design and working documentation". Therefore, it is still not clear to me how the standard in construction, which tells us about the PROJECT documentation, is related to the correct layout of the title page of the report. You can see it by clicking here.
After having dealt with the erroneousstandards, we will pass to those who really regulate the issues of the title page for the report. These are GOSTs: 2.105-95 and 7.32-2001. The first GOST is also related to construction and touches upon aspects of creating documents for engineering products, devices and construction. It is called: "Unified system of design documentation. General requirements for text documents ". He, too, is not exactly "that", but is closer to the truth.
Second GOST 7.32-2001 - what is called, "an apple". In the field of application of the interstate standard (it is valid not only in the Russian Federation) there are also higher educational institutions, and its name: "Structure and rules of registration". Therefore, for a basis, at registration of the title page of the report it is necessary to take that is written inside this document and in any way differently.
To long not paint, where and what type of writing - everything is shown in the photo above.
In GOST 7.32-2001, in clause 6.10, clearly indicate the requirements for the title page. Link to familiarize yourself with the standard, you have, open and read, if something you do not understand or want to clarify. Wrote specially for you, therefore - give, work.
But does the professor know?
Nuance is as follows: an all-knowing teacher, probably even a doctor of some kind of sciences and an honorary member of the academy of the name does not care whom, does he know in advance how to properly format the title page of the report? If not, then all your work with reading this article, the guest and the time spent preparing the main page for such a "right", can be brutally and unfairly crossed out by the candidate of science, who oversees your work. Begin to prove to him that you are right and did everything in accordance with the standards? Well, yes, how. So before - ask your curators from the university how they think it's right to get the first sheet, and then get down to business.
