At the conclusion of the employment contract for the first time the work book and the insurance certificate of the state pension insurance are made out by the employer. If the employee has lost or damaged this document, the new employer is obliged to issue a new one on the written application (indicating the reason for the absence of the work record book).

Although, in most cases, the personnel services of enterprises for the first time open the work book of the applicant after the decision on his admission has been made.

Also, the work book performs a functionoriginal protection of the rights of its owner. After all, in case of dismissal of an employee, the law obliges the employer to make a record, in which he refers to a specific article of the law, on which the dismissal was committed. The work book during the performance of the employee's job duties is stored in the personnel department and can be issued only in case of dismissal. The employee can not demand to get it in his hands, but he can ask the employer for a copy of the work book or an extract from it. Upon written application of the employee, the employer is obliged not later than three working days from the date of filing of this application to give the employee copies of documents related to work, as well as extracts from the work book.

Be sure to ensure that allrecords from work places were certified with appropriate seals. The absence of the employer's seal on the record of dismissal invalidates all records of the work he has. Therefore, it may turn out that this period will not be included in the employee's pension. In this case, it is better to contact your previous employer and place a seal.
