The inhabitants of the south of France consider the north to be terriblean uncivilized land inhabited by ill-bred, rude muzhlans who speak in an incomprehensible language of shti. But, arriving in Berg, Philip finds with amazement that he was transferred to a beautiful place, populated by sympathetic hospitable people. This French comedy was filmed in 2007director Danie Boon. He himself wrote the script for the film and personally performed in it one of the main roles - Antoine Biol, postman and bell ringer in Berg, colleague and friend of the main character Philip Abrams.

In the first week of the film, the movie "Beaver spit"collected a record amount (25.5 million euros), thus outscoring the previous record holder - the film "Cheerful and tanned" in 2006 release.
This picture also established a second record - in France it was watched by 20.5 million people. The previous record (17.3 million spectators) was installed in 1966 by the film "The Great Walk".
One of the main roles in the film was played by the director of the movie Danny Boone.
