Computer does not see e-book
Modern electronic readers are becomingsmarter, some models are even equipped with Wi-Fi, so you can download books from the Internet. But still it is more convenient to download books from the computer by connecting the reader with a cord. However, it happens that the computer does not see e-book.
If the PC does not see the e-book, there may be quite a few reasons for this, but they are all divided into two main groups: hardware and software. Hardware causes are associated with a hardware failure: the problem may be in the cable or connector. Software causes are caused by a malfunction in the software of the computer or electronic book.
First, try to eliminate hardware problems, checking the integrity of the cable and connector. Carefully inspect the connector and cable forsubject to damage - perhaps, they can be noticed with the naked eye. If you have another cable, try connecting an e-book with it (many readers are equipped with standard mini-USB cables, so you can try a cable from another device with a mini-USB connector).

Also worth check USB ports on your computer. For example, if you connect an e-bookin the port on the front panel, it can corny lack of power, in this case you need to connect it to one of the rear ports. The same happens if you connect the book through a USB extension cable. Or the port may simply be faulty, so you need to try any other free port.
If the e-book is completely discharged, the computer may not see it. Therefore, you first need to recharge the book, andthen connect it to the computer. If a charger is attached to the book, there will be no problem with this. For a book charging from USB, you can separately purchase a special charger with a USB connector.
Another possible reason that the computer does not want to see your reader - too many already connected USB devices. If you already have a mouse connected via USB, a keyboard,USB-speakers, a camera and a mug with heating, then the computer will simply not pull the book. If there are many USB outputs in the system unit, this does not mean that all of them can be used simultaneously.
Sometimes the reason that a computer does not see an e-book can be a "glitch" of the firmware book. To begin, try turning the book off and on again. If the book has a sleep mode, it should bejust turn it off, and not switch to this mode. If the book hangs when connected (which also happens), you can try to reboot it using the Reset button, previously disconnecting from the computer. In some models of books, it is not a separate button that answers for the reboot, but a long press of the power button. And just in case, the computer will also restart - it's worse you will not do it.
Also, the problem may be in the drivers. To test this guess, go to the Panelcontrol, and in it - Device Manager. In the manager, you will see a list of devices, find in it an e-book. Right-click and select Update drivers in the context menu. If the driver update did not help, select Delete. Then disable the e-book, restart the computer and try reconnecting it.
At last Try to connect the e-book to some other computer. If it turns out that he does not see the e-bookonly your computer, and on the rest everything is normal, then the problem is in your PC, and the book is not to blame for anything. If other computers also refuse to see the book, then the problem with the book, so it is worth attributing it to the service: the specialists will determine the "culprit" (this can be firmware or iron) and fix the malfunction.
