How to remove unnecessary programs from startup?

A simple way to remove programs from startup
There are two ways to remove unnecessaryprograms - standard (for regular users) and "advanced". To remove from the startup program in a simple way, click on the "Start" button and select the "Run" menu item. In the opened dialog box, type msconfig, and then press the OK key. A window with several tabs opens, you need to select the "Startup" tab.
This tab will list the programs that arerun automatically when the system starts. In the first column ("Startup item") there will be a list of programs that are launched or launched at the start of Windows. Those programs that run in automatic mode will be ticked.
Sometimes the name in the first column is prettyIt is not easy to understand which program is meant. If you have any doubts about this or that application - pay attention to the "Team" column. It contains the path of the executable file, which will help you determine the folder and, accordingly, the name of a particular program. If the path is not completely visible, you will need to pull the separator between the "Location" and "Command" columns to the right using the mouse cursor.
To remove unnecessary programs from startup,just uncheck their name. Unnecessary are those programs that are not needed constantly, but periodically run through a shortcut. Those programs that you use often, and which do not require a lot of resources, you can leave in startup. Categorically it is not recommended to remove the antivirus and firewall from the startup!
Unchecking unnecessary programs, clickclick Apply, and then click OK. After that a dialog box will appear - the system will warn you that all the changes you make will take effect only after the computer restarts. You can reboot the computer immediately by clicking on the "Restart" button, or do not reboot - then click the "Quit without reboot" button.
If you accidentally removed the wrong programs from the startup, you can go back to the startup configuration and put the necessary checkboxes.
Editing autoloading through the registry
You can also remove unnecessaryprogram by editing the registry. Warning: if you do not know what the registry is, or you know, but are not sure that you can do everything right, do not use this method!
To access the registry editing,we call the Run dialog box (in the same way as in the first method), but instead of the msconfig command, type regedit. After executing this command, a program opens, something similar to Windows Explorer. In the left part you will see a registry tree showing its structure, and on the right you will see the keys that are contained in the active (selected by you) registry key.
