What are the useful properties of rooibos? First and foremost, rooibos contains a large number antioxidants. Antioxidants prevent negativeeffects of free radicals on the cells of the body and prevent damage to the structure of DNA. Therefore, rooibos can be drunk to prevent premature aging, diseases of the cardiovascular system, cancerous tumors. Note that in green rooibos (unfermented), more antioxidants than in red (fermented).



Although rooibos has a toning effect, it does not contain caffeine. Therefore, even those people who can drink rooiboscaffeine is contraindicated - for example, small children.
